Government and Mass Conspiracy

I’m not generally the kind of guy that goes spouting conspiracy theories but I must confess the constant barrage of global negativity, mass mediocrity and paralysing suffocation of murder, government corruption, the financial crisis and increasing taxes is THE no.1 conspiracy of the modern world!

A conspiracy to pollute your mind, break your spirit & leave you with an overwhelming feeling that you’re small, insignificant, weak and helpless. It’s not your fault, the mass media serves to condition people to accept mediocrity by putting garbage into people’s minds… garbage in and garbage out!

Whether the mass media do this as a conscious objective, or unknowingly as a by-product is largely irrelevant. The end result is still the same.

Let’s have a look at some of the things in the world that are keeping you trapped…

#1 The News

I can honestly say that I never watch the news and haven’t now for well over two years. A trustworthy person in my network will tell me the important stuff I need to know or I may pick up on newsworthy items through social media. It seems to be all that anyone ever talks about is the news.

What’s new about the news anyway? Exactly… nothing! Same crap… different day… different people! There was a murder in city x to person y. There was a rape victim on day x to person y in city z. Simply complete the formula as necessary to get a typical ‘news’ story.

Of course, there are an abundance of political stories that make the news since government parties ensure that stories are spun and presented for the best interests of their political agenda. For some reason, countries such as the US and the UK believe that they’re not subjected to political propaganda and have total freedom of speech.

However, whilst waiting around for the missus at the local shop, I picked up a paper left lying around which turned out to be akin to a shopping list of catastrophes and traumas.

I know that the news is ‘normal’ to normal people, however most normal people accomplish fairly little in their lifetime. This is bound to hurt many people who read this but it is the sad and harsh reality and it pains me to say it. I know you’re different though… you’re reading this right now and improving your mindset as a result. What a great investment of your time… to develop these finer distinctions in your thinking to equip you with both motivation, tools and stimulus for positive change.

Those of us who are going somewhere in life have better things to do than to watch the relentless moaning and droning of crimes and disasters that we have almost no power to resolve.

Right now, the world is full of negativity such as murders, crime, starvation, poverty, tax hikes and war. It’s full of gross negativity if you ‘choose’ to see it as full of negativity. You must understand ‘The Importance of Input’ and its effect on your pyschology and outlook of life.

As an entrepreneur, you must stand guard at the door to your mind and not allow the media to poison you. If you’re careless at standing guard diligently at the door of your mind, it’ll kill your ambition, kill your determination, kill your spirit, kill your cashflow, kill your dreams and everything you really live for and love.

Stand guard at the door to your mind.
- Jim Rohn

Listen, let’s be brutally honest here… the mass media is not your friend!

They exist for the purpose of selling you fear, keeping you in a JOB, keeping you paying your 75 per cent in taxes and feeding the government whilst keeping you firmly entrenched in the rat race ‘existence’.

Not only must you protect yourself from the depressive constant onslaught of fear the media hurls at you, you need to combat it with your family and your loved ones united.

#2 Oil

Rising Oil Price Have you ever considered why you keep loading your car up with petrol or diesel? Really considered it? Do you think with modern technology the way it is that there really isn’t a cheaper, cleaner and more viable alternative to using oil based fuel such as petrol and diesel to run our automobiles?

Cars can be run using numerous other fuels including electricity, liquid petroleum gas, biofuels, hydrogen and even things like chip fat.

What’s stopping these cars from being manufactured and bought into mainstream production, so we can benefit from cheaper fuel and a cleaner environment?

The government, oil companies and rich oil sheeks all have a vested interest in making sure that oil based fuel is still the fuel of choice at the pump. Does it make you wonder why these technologies aren’t becoming mainstream? The government are collecting up to 58% of the price per litre in taxation revenues. This is around 58p in fuel duty and 23p in VAT in the UK and the price per litre is at around £1.39 per litre of diesel as at the time this post was republished. The government definitely don’t want to be missing out on this ‘little’ revenue stream, especially since they dug themselves into a nice little hole accumulating record levels of debt after huge borrowing from such massive over-spending.

#3 The Banking System

London Financial District

In the UK, we have entrepreneurs such as Richard Branson who look to consistently break into new markets where the customer is not getting value for money. Branson is renowned for going up against the big boys in industries, offering the consumer value for money but yet he can’t actually break into the banking industry because it’s an “old boys” club which contains Barclays, Lloyds TSB, Natwest, HBOS and HSBC all under the guise of competition. All the banks offer similar deals in interest rates for their products but they’re varied enough that the deals appear that there’s competition in the marketplace. Just enough to keep consumer groups and monopolies commissions off their backs. Banks are even bailed out by the government when the going gets tough and a cynic may even question the motives of the government with such practises.

The banks are quick to offer mortgages for people to buy their own homes and take on ridiculous levels of debt and interest payments on their repayment mortgages just for lending out the money. Whilst the interest rates appear to be low, the amount that is actually repaid over the duration of the mortgage is extremely significant. Take a look at this calculator to see the impact of borrowing for a repayment mortgage.

The word ‘mortgage’ is derived from the French verb ‘mortir’ which means “to die.” A mortgage literally means an engagement until death and people are willingly entering these all the time. Don’t get me wrong, owning a property rather than renting a property is a smart move since you’re building equity and in effect, you’re likely to become an ‘accidental investor’. What isn’t so smart is being forced to pay top dollar for the property since the interest rate is so high. After all, a low APR doesn’t sound like much until you map it out on a mortgage repayment calculator.

Conclusion

Protect yourself and your family from negative programming. You deserve to be consuming the most nutrituous mental foods. You need to smile. You need to greet everyone you meet with encouragement… your customers, suppliers, outsourcers, JV partners, friends and family.

You need to talk about what’s really happening behind the scenes.

Choose your reality by electing for a more empowering alternative. Choose your world… a good world… a world that supports the achivement of your dreams. You need to celebrate those tiny little victories every single day.

And… when you do have a major victory or breakthrough in your life, share it and rejoice with the people who will celebrate it with you.

Great News… You’re In Pain!

Have you ever found yourself in a fix where you were doing something day in and day out which was extremely painful? Perhaps stuck in a job that you hate but tolerate just to pay the bills?

Have you simply ‘tolerated’ a relationship because you’re scared of being alone or entering the world of dating again?

Pain can sometimes provide you with powerful emotional leverage for change. If you have a high pain threshold or you have this canny knack of ignoring your painful emotions thinking that they’re normal, then you could end up in a painful situation for years to come.

Getting Emotional Leverage On Yourself

Emotional leverage is that moment when you decide with absolute conviction and no other possibility exists that you’re going to take a course of action. When that moment arrives, you have just tapped into your well of personal power.

Emotions provide you with valuable feedback which you can use to change your philosophy, decide on your next moves and take effective action towards your goal. If you ignore your emotions, you’ll likely end up at effect to everything and the world will just push you around.

Continuous pain attributed to the same source must be used as a motivator to propel you towards new empowering life choices. In this light, pain can be seen as something that is desirable, even an asset, rather than something that is simply a burden. A total shift in your mindset can help you harness the power of pain!

Is there anywhere in your life where you can subject yourself to pain to take advantage of this law? It’s important here to make the distinction that you’re looking for the type of pain that can propel you forward rather than the type that can endanger you or put your personal safety at risk.

The human mind is designed to protect you and therefore to avoid pain. Growth comes from the suffering of pain and the stretch into the realms of continuous discomfort.

Exercise

Think of three things that are totally painful and uncomfortable for you to do. As an example, perhaps the thought of public speaking terrifies you. Set these things as goals to develop.

Now put a plan in place to challenge these things head on and do actually them! Let’s see if you can surprise yourself.

If you take action on these things, this time next year, you’ll be newly empowered and other things will seem much more trivial.

I’d love to hear about how you have harnessed the power of pain in your life. Leave a comment below to let us know if we can learn from you.

Intelligence Sucks!

Were you given a bum steer towards success? Were you the guy that was told by your parents that intelligence wins the game of life?

I don’t know about you but I had expressions like:

you only never need work once in your life. You decide whether it’s for 15 years at school or for 50 years in a job

rammed down my throat as I was growing up. I guess this was my parent’s way of stirring the pain of an undesirable future to motivate me to take action in my schooling. I certainly do not resent my parents for this.

My mum would always say that it’s intelligence that gets you success. Whilst I agree that intelligence is a better attribute than having brute physical strength, which is of course what teenage boys want most – to be the hardest and most respected “tough guy” on the block.

One of the factors that got me started in Internet Marketing is the lure of a flexible lifestyle where I could enjoy the real currency of life… time and freedom with which to enjoy it! I realised that serious wealth creators and entrepreneurial thinkers are not always gifted intellects. Financial wealth doesn’t care about how smart you are – it will find the most or least intellectual people if they do the right things with the right attitude.

There are many examples in the business world of “C” grade students employing “A” grade students.

Artificial Intelligence: The Intelligence Illusion

They go to university or get a college degree online, where for the most part, they’re conditioned to serve in someone else’s company as an employee.

Look around and ask yourself:

How many really intelligent people are turning in every day at 9 am to report to a boss which certainly doesn’t have their best interests at heart?

How many people do you know on the Internet Marketing circuit that has broken through earning thousands and thousands of dollars and they’re barely out of their teen years and certainly don’t have an IQ and overall wisdom of the world like you? I think the answers to those two questions reveal something very interesting. After all, as an entrepreneur, you view things by the results you get, right? I think it’s clear to see that my mum was wrong – sorry mum!

Intelligence does not win the race. Intelligence often leads you down a path of being an intellectual where you intellectualise or analyse everything around you even dismissing things that are entirely possible to do as impossible to do. They will come up with reasonable sounding objections such as that cannot be done because [...fill in the blanks...]

In fact, where do the intellectuals go once they have left school? They go to university, where for the most part, they’re conditioned to serve in someone else’s company as an employee.

Before I go any further… I’m NOT against employees or intellectuals. I’m merely observing a pattern widespread in our society that has us chasing an illusion… that the accumulation of intelligence is the goal or the means of getting success. I mean, what is the measure used to signify intelligence?

Knowledge!

When we’re not getting the result we want (more money, time and freedom), what do we pursue?

More Knowledge!

Surely we must soon arrive at the thinking that knowledge is important but it can only be important if it’s coupled with determined persistent action towards a definitive goal.

I certainly know how the pursuit of becoming more intelligent for more success has played out in my life. I didn’t start to get the results that I wanted until I purposely made an internal shift in my thinking. The shift in my thinking was achieved by constant exposure to great teachers that have been before me who showed me there was another life other than the 9-5 existence that we’re conditioned to think is our “job lot”.

I just wanted to share my story with you so if you were taught to believe that intelligence (or knowledge) is the trait that gives you success, which is represented in our physical world as qualifications, then there are more important character traits that you can develop within yourself to give you a greater chance of success.

Emotional traits (measured as EQ) will help you to achieve more in the entrepreneurial world than IQ. The business world is full of taking calculated risks and emotional strength and intelligence certainly helps you to triumph.

Who’s going to succeed the most? The intellectual who ponders the ways of the world, or the half-wit go getting action taker who won’t settle for anything less than the life he knows he deserves.

I think we can all see the answer to this.

Remember to keep conditioning your mind for success. What goes into your mind affects the output you produce and the value you present to your customers. Of course, the creation of financial wealth in your life is a representation of that value you create through your ability to solve your prospect’s problems. Be careful not to chase an illusion and work purposefully on developing character traits that you see are getting your desired result for other people.
