Link Building with IM Automator

How to Link Build with Social Bookmarking on Autopilot

We all know the importance of building links back to our blog posts, don’t we?

The more links that we have pointing back to our posts, the better right?

Almost! The truth of the matter is that quality beats quantity every time. One backlink from a PR1 site will beat ten backlinks from a PR 0 site. One backlink from a PR4 site will beat 1,000 links from PR 0 sites.

However, saying that… this doesn’t mean that you should dash off right now and start looking for backlinks from blogs that are from PR4 sites or above. Google also likes to see blogs building authority through the building of backlinks on a natural basis.

This means getting links from sites with various page ranks, a mixture of dofollow and nofollow links. After all, this is the natural link building pattern that would occur on the web. Different types of blogs linking to your blog with different types of links.

Getting links from sites can be a really time consuming process, can’t it?

If you’re anything like me, you probably look for quality blogs to contribute to, solve readers problems and build a relationship with the authority blog owner. You might even use the odd tool to hunt out places where you can find blogs with a good amount of traffic and authority which you can comment on.

Well, recently I have found a solution which is totally free with the optional upgrade. I must admit, I don’t see any need to use the additional tools which you can get using the paid upgrade, however my opinion may not be all that valid since I already have the tools in other formats.

The solution is…

IM Automator

With IM Automator, you can simply submit up to ten of your blog posts per day. The software will then steadily bookmark your content automatically to an optional amount of bookmarking sites.

This can help you increase your exposure and get a little bit of additional traffic from the bookmarking locations, however the real benefit is in the link building that occurs as a result of the submission.

The link quality may not be always excellent and the links may well be nofollow, however, once submitted, it’s completely hands-free and will help you to build links and traffic over the long term and that most certainly is a commendable goal.

I won’t insult your intelligence by creating a video showing you how to submit your bookmarks. It’s ridiculously easy and takes barely any time to do.

Go visit IM Automator now and happy backlinking! :)

A timeous post Wayne, as I’ve been delving into aspects of back linking over the past month or so – I’m busy building out a network of affiliate sites and this is important.

Te problem is that the paid services are too exhorbitant to be able to afford (particularly converting to the dollar from the SA Rand) so I’ve been investigating and even trying a few of the other ones – I could write reams here but space prevents that.

It looks like this IM Automator may be the one i’ve been looking for!

Thanks for the post confirming what some of my research was pointing to!

    Wayne,

Totally agree with this article. I’ve implemented add ins to auto post to Twitter, and have realized an increase in visitors fairly regularly. We also have a plugin enabled on our Facebook page as well, and get regular referrals from them.

Can’t go wrong with Social Media.

      Hi Rufus,

      Welcome back.

Social media traffic is simple enough to get to your website, however the best results come from engaged social media traffic. If they’re not engaged when they are on Twitter, the challenge of converting your visitor will be all the more difficult.

Been using I.M Automator (free version) for a few months now.
    Here are the GENUINE results.
Total links submitted 495. Of which I.M Automator claims that over 50% were successful.
Actual links showing on Yahoo link domain 2. Yes I said 2 and both are PR N/A.
Think very carefully before you commit to the paid version of this software.

Wayne. Firstly, thank’s for the tip. After posting my comment I have noticed several more links on Google analyctics which made me feel a little guilty about my remarks. Guess they are just taking quite a time to show up.
Secondly. Thank you for taking the time to email me personally. You clearly care a great deal about the quality of your blog and giving honest and valuable advice to your readers.
Have bookmarked your blog and hope to become a regular visitor and contributor.
        Thank’s again.

    Hi Wayne

Great post, Social bookmarking is an extremely powerful form of link building and I actually used imautomater a while back and it works great. The only reason I don’t use it that much anymore is because I don’t realise as much new content these days.

You are 100% right that quality beats quantity and a lot of internet marketers make the same mistake by using spamming tools thinking it will get them to the top of google. However this stop working in around 2004 so things like imautomater can be very useful as it only builds quality back links.

Now a days bookmarking is not that powerful like before. For me I might use it to bookmark the links where I put my backlinks but not my personal site. Bookmarking will help the links to get index by Search Engine. Very helpful info.

Hi Matt! Thanks for sharing such a great post. Yes, you are absolutely right that Quality of the link far supersedes the effect of quantity. As an SEO I know what a difference it makes to have backlinks from High PR sites. I wish there was a way to find these links easily, as that is the most difficult part. Thanks to plug-ins like Comment luv and Keyword luv at least like-minded people can link with each other.
