CASE STUDY: How I Got 20,354 YouTube Views in 5 Days

We’re all aware of a handful of overnight success stories involving internet marketing. For example, YouTube’s sale to Google for $1.65 billion after 2 years in life existence, or the meteoric rise of Facebook from the creator Mark Zuckerburg hacking into Harvard’s computer network to copy student ID Images in 2003 to its status as one of the world’s most popular social networks with a a valuation of $9.5 billion in 2009

But success doesn’t come quite that quickly for most online businesses. Over a period of years, I’ve grown my blog business, slowly but surely, through testing and tracking various marketing strategies. It was hard work, but eventually my persistence began to pay off and my blog site began generating a good monthly income.

Let’s begin our journey

Before I started to create videos, I carefully thought about the niche I’d operate in. I didn’t want to pick a niche that would end up wasting a lot of my time and money. There’s nothing worse than putting all your effort into a project and never getting any rewards.

Here’s one of my top research tool that helped me get some answers

LongTailPro.com

I used the said tool to figure it out whether there are enough people in my niche and how many people are searching for the keyword in my niche. The result was as below:

Obviously this is not a fool-proof method for determining whether any niche is profitable but it gave me some indication.

My Advice

Don’t spend sleepless nights over niche selection. The important thing is that you pick a niche that you will love and there is a likelihood of making money from it.

After selecting my niche, I went ahead and set up my YouTube channel. My first step was to make sure that I give the best chance of success. I uploaded an irresistible offer on my YouTube Channel and it attracted a lot of attention.

Here’s how I did it…

If you want to be successful in this area, I would brutally recommend that your YouTube channel name contains the main keyword phrase that you want to rank for. It will help you rank better both in Google and YouTube search results.

Making your YouTube Exponentially Long-term traffic

If you have been involved in internet marketing, you’ll probably know how important list building is for the success of your internet business. You can make money from email marketing but that’s not a complete equation. As we all know people like to buy products from people they trust and that’s why Aweber is so helpful for this project.

Below is an example of my Aweber project

Since I incorporated the mailing list to my blog, I have seen a dramatically increased of traffic. In fact it has helped me to create a strong relationship with my subscribers. If you want to have a long lasting traffic, kindly don’t ignore this step.

Guest Blogging

The next step was guest blogging. As we all know, posting quality content to A-List bloggers is a powerful concept of leveraging traffic into long term subscribers. One of the greatest benefits of guest blogging is that it can propel your blog or your offline business to the next level. Since my main objective was to get traffic, I wrote an engaging post at NetsProfitToday.com and the results were outstanding. Below is an example of the guest post that I did on the said A-List Blogger.

Below is the YouTube Results

I did a Google search for the following keyphrase, and the results were pretty convincing. ”Drive Traffic to Your Site”

At the time of writing this content, the results are accurate. Pretty cool huh? If you try to rank with content, it will definitely take longer. The cool thing about YouTube is that you can rank well in there in there search engine than Google.

Conclusion

If you’re interested in generating more YouTube views, I would recommend you take advantage of YouTube. In this content, you’ve everything you need for phenomenal success online. Just grab the bull by its horn and make it happen!

Do you have any success tips with YouTube marketing?

How To Overcome The Fear Of Being On Camera

At some point or another, a blogger makes the decision that they want to start building deeper relationships with their blogging readership, YouTube subscribers and Twitter followers.

With video becoming increasingly popular online and the apparent emerging trend of mobile computing with tablet devices and smartphones becoming the must have tech accessory, it’s becoming the smart thing to use video marketing as part of your online marketing strategy.

The Challenge

The challenge for most people starting out with video blogging is that they have a fear of being on camera. At first, this was something really strange for me. I could deliver the content very comfortably to a close and select group of friends or to my family but when it came to delivering the goods on camera, I just couldn’t seem to be able to get it together.

The Cause

The inner challenge was being accepted by others. To put it another way, I feared that my ideas were going to be rejected or that no-one would find my message useful or relevant, or the content that I am producing valuable. This was the same as the fear of public speaking that could also stop someone from delivering their message to the world.

Something had to change otherwise I was just going to end up saying:

Video marketing just isn’t for me.

Clearly I had a message to share. I had to learn how to overcome the fear of being on camera to enjoy the privileges and rewards of sharing my message.

The Solution

One useful tip I was told by someone with experience in producing videos was to put a picture of someone funny right behind my camera. This would help me to focus my attention on maintaining eye contact with the subject of the photo which means that I can make eye contact easily with my audience since the eyes of the photo sit just behind the camera. It would also help me to take myself less seriously.

One of the guys I follow online for help, tips and advice on video marketing/blogging is Gideon Shalwick. Whilst reading Gideon’s RSS feed, I noticed an interesting video that he created about how to overcome the fear of being on camera and decided to include his video within my post.

I hope you enjoyed the video and can use the tips in the video to get started with your video marketing campaign and get your message out there.
